The elitist corporate establishment has its propaganda machine on full-drive convincing Latin Americans to come into the US illegally. But the fact is they care nothing about foreign folks.
In a terrible tragedy Sunday night, 10 people are now reported dead in an alarming human smuggling operation uncovered in San Antonio, Texas. The corporate elites want their cheap illegal labor even at the cost of human life!
Authorities in San Antonio discovered 39 people hidden in a trailer parked at a local Walmart. It turns out they were stuffed in there for hours–and the trailer’s AC wasn’t working. Temperatures were at a high 101 degrees throughout the day.
Besides the 10 who died (which are all reported to be adult men), 20 people were found in very serious conditions, with heart rates of over 130 beats per minute. Naturally, they suffered from heatstroke.
The driver of the vehicle, 60-year-old Matthew James Bradley, Jr. is a resident of Clearwater, FL. He’s now in federal custody.
There were more people being smuggled than were found by authorities. Most of them got away. Passersby report seeing vehicles pick people who walked out of the trailer. Others ran into the nearby woods.
Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick posted on Facebook: “[Sunday’s] tragedy is why I made passing Senate Bill 4 to ban sanctuary cities — which is now law — a top priority.
“Sanctuary cities entice people to believe they can come to America and Texas and live outside the law. Sanctuary cities also enable human smugglers and cartels.”
Thomas Homan, Acting Director of ICE, said: “By any standard, the horrific crime uncovered last night ranks as a stark reminder of why human smuggling networks must be pursued, caught and punished.”
These smuggling operations involve the illegal aliens being crossed over the border by foot. Then, they’re shipped in trucks or trailers to their destination. This tragedy shows why these corporate lovers of illegal immigrant labor need to STOP encouraging unlawful entry into our country.
There’s also the aspect of personal responsibility here. The people in the truck weren’t locked in. They could have walked out, as many of them did. But they didn’t do so because they thought (rightly) they would be caught and deported. Why put your life at risk for the sake of entering another country illegally?
As I’ve written about from personal experience, people in Mexico and the rest of Latin America won’t die of hunger if they don’t come here illegally. Heck, there are people here in the US (whites, blacks, hispanics) who are dying on the streets. Are they supposed to immigrate illegally elsewhere?
Human smugglers charge these folks upwards of $8,000 to bring them here unlawfully. That amounts to nearly $142,000 MX–enough to pay rent for six and a half years. With that money, these people could start a small business in their home country and make a comfortable living.
But the corporate power players want these Latin Americans to risk life and limb breaking the law so that they can get cheap labor–and simultaneously gain a loyal political demographic.
For the good of Americans and the people south of the border, we need to put an end to the flow of illegal immigration. Build the wall and stop the madness!
