Make no mistake: we are currently living through one of the most important and transformative eras—not just of American politics, but of America, period.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said on Sunday that President Trump might face “the real prospect of jail time” after federal prosecutors claimed then-candidate Trump made illegal campaign payments during the 2016 election when he allegedly directed his former attorney, Michael Cohen, to buy the silence of women who said they had affairs with him.
“We have been discussing the issue of pardons the president may offer to people or dangle in front of people,” Schiff said. “The bigger pardon question may come down the road, as the next president has to determine whether to pardon Donald Trump.”
Naturally, we know the accusations are bogus. The payments had nothing to do campaign funds. And if Democrats, including Schiff, were really interested in cracking down on campaign finance, they’d go after Hillary Clinton for her campaign law violations.
But don’t get complacent just because Democrats have no basis to jail Trump. This is what you need to understand: they don’t need a real basis. So long as they have Congress, law enforcement, and the mass media on their side, they will do whatever they want sans evidence.
And what they (the Deep State, the globalists, and the establishment insiders) want is to make a supreme example out of President Trump. They want to tell the American people: “This is what will happen to you if you dare rebel against our will. If you attempt to resist the agenda of the uniparty, we will bury you and your entire family.”
Remember the fall of Nixon. That’s the power the Deep State has to crush a president. And Trump has upset the Powers That Be far more than Nixon did.
Nixon, after all, completely sold himself to the establishment. He betrayed his base and the American people on everything of importance. Once in office, he did exactly the opposite of everything he had proclaimed on the campaign trail. Nixon tried to serve Deep State, but was ultimately discarded by it.
President Trump must take a look at Nixon and realize that trying to play nice with the establishment won’t save him.
Because he is a negotiator and a deal maker, perhaps the president believes he can simply strike a compromise with his adversaries and come to a win-win conclusion. But there is no possibility of win-win. Someone is going to lose. It’s us or them.
If President Trump does not quickly begin using the powers of his office to dismantle the Deep State and drain the swamp, he will give the insiders the time they need to take him down.
The president has to start the firings. He has to start the jailing. Time is running short.
This is a battle to the death—and not just for President Trump. The survival of this nation hangs in the balance.
